• Brush your hair 2 to 3 times a day. Make it a habit to brush and detangle every day! Using a detangling brush, brush in a downward motion at the ends of your hair and gently work your way up (do not brush harshly)
• Wait 24 to 48 hours from the applica-tion before washing hair.
• Brush & detangle hair first and then prepare to wash with your head tilted back, not forward.*Never flip the hair over in the opposite direction (upside down) to wash.
• Always use a good quality shampoo and hydrating conditioner to keep your hair smooth. Sulfate-Free Shampoos are recommended to preserve the color that is deposited onto the hair extension. DO NOT lather the hair in big sweeping motions as this can cause tangling as well.
• Don't overdo too much conditioner or any other hair care product that can cause build-up and tangling. Rinse thoroughly and apply conditioner starting mid-shaft of the hair to the ends. cause the extensions to slip off. (When the conditioners, cream, treatments, or smoothing creams seep into the tube locks or sandwiched tape areas, the products may smear application areas when using these types of products!)
• Stay away from products containing alcohol, oil, or ethanol, as these ingredi-ents make hair dry and could compro-mise the adhesive or keratin tips on your extensions.
• Never sleep on wet hair. Make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to bed, then gently tie it up or braid it to prevent tangling. 
• When using heat tools to style, make sure to protect your hair extensions with a thermal styling product. Excessive heat can reduce the life of your extensions. *Be cautious with the use of blow dryers, curling irons near the root area where the extensions are installed. Try to stay 1/2" away from the application areas.

Tip 1: Wear your hair up or in a ponytail when you exercise and be sure to wash. your hair after working out or swimming. (Sweat causes dirt build-up & sunscreen can discolor your hair, so try to avoid getting it on your extensions)

Tip 2: Never wash or flip your hair upside down. But do wash your hair every other day to remove oily build-up. Natural hair oil from your scalp can seep into the tape hair adhesive & tube locks.

Tip 3: Always have a licensed stylist remove or reapply the extensions. We advise not to remove or move up on your own. This may ruin the chance to re-use and re-apply the hair.
